You can follow us at Instagram (@buluttanapp) or on LinkedIn (https://tr.linkedin.com/company/buluttan).Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and implement regression and classification algorithms to improve the accuracy of short-term weather forecasts, focusing on renewable energy production and extreme weather alerts.</li><li>Deploy machine learning models to production, analyze and track their performance.</li><li>Analyze and interpret spatially complex datasets related to numerical weather prediction (NWP) models, radar and satellite imagery, atmospheric and climate variables.</li><li>Assist in the creation of data visualizations and dashboards to provide insights for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Stay ahead of the latest developments in the field of Meteorology &amp; Artificial Intelligence and drive Buluttan’s AI vision in meteorology.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>B.Sc/M.Sc/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Meteorology, Physics, or any related department.</li><li>2+ years customer-facing, project-delivery experience, professional services, and/or consulting experience.</li><li>Experience in working with ML models in production.</li><li>Strong foundation in Machine Learning.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git.</li><li>Willingness to explore and actively use AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) tools to accelerate development.</li><li>Trying to follow best software development practices (clean code, testing, version control).</li><li>Proven reputation of problem-solving techniques, attention to detail, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and professional communication skills.</li><li>Full ownership &amp; capability of managing responsibilities with minimal guidance.</li></ul>Nice to have<ul><li>Experience with time series regression &amp; forecasting algorithms.</li><li>Experience working with weather data, radar and satellite image recognition.</li><li>Familiarity with GCP &amp; data engineering pipelines.</li><li>Having solved Physics based problems.</li><li>Knowledge of data visualization tools (Grafana, Tableau, Looker).</li><li>Passion for meteorology.</li><li>An active stance on climate change &amp; sustainability.</li></ul></body></html>
